James obtained his Law Degree at the University of Wolverhampton followed by the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester. He then completed his Training Contract at a Shrewsbury Firm before joining Russell & Russell in 2004 and specialising in Criminal Law, Road Traffic Offences and Prison Law.
James is a Duty Solicitor and in July 2008 he obtained his Higher Rights and regularly appears at the Crown Court.
Outside work, James spends time with his wife and two children and when the opportunity arises he plays golf, darts and watches West Bromwich Albion.
