Derrick Smethurst, a Partner with Russell & Russell, has been admitted to the SCARD Panel of Solicitors. SCARD - Support and Care after Road Death and Injury - is the only independent charity dedicated to supporting all road victims. They provide a free counselling service, a helpline, and other essential services to the bereaved and injured.
Derrick is the Head of the Personal Injury Department at Russell & Russell. He has been with the Firm over 25 years. He is also a member of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society, an accredited member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, and an approved specialist on The Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
Derrick says, "I am extremely gratified to be added to the SCARD Panel of approved Solicitors. The work undertaken by SCARD is seldom publicised, but they do provide essential support to the victims of road accidents and to the bereaved. Expert legal advice is often an integral part of such support and assistance."
