Emma graduated from the University of Salford with an upper second class degree in LLB Law with honours in 2018. She then went on to study her Masters degree at the University of Law in Manchester along with her LPC course, which she is due to complete in 2021.

Emma joined Russell & Russell Solicitors in April 2021 as a paralegal in our Personal Injury Department, based at our Newport Street office. Emma hopes to complete a training contract and to qualify as a Solicitor in the future.

In the Personal Injury department Emma is dealing with all types of Personal Injury claims, including Accidents at work, Clinical Negligence, Road Traffic Accidents, Occupiers Liability and Public Liability claims.

Emma is an advocate for Pro Bono work and is passionate about assisting those in need. She won an award at University for her dedication in helping at Benefit Tribunals at the Manchester Civil Justice Centre in her free time; she continues to assist with Benefit Tribunals when she can. Emma volunteers at the National Centre for Domestic Violence; this is a free, fast emergency injunction service to survivors of domestic abuse and violence.

Outside of work, Emma’s other passion aside from Law is Photography. She owns a photography studio in Bolton which specialises in child and wedding photography; she particularly adores photographing new born babies.  Emma loves parrots and is a mum to Quaker Parrot Mario. When she isn’t working Emma loves to travel the world. She has been to the Taj Mahal in India, and Chichen Itza in Mexico to name but a few. On the quiet weekends she loves nothing more than spending time with Mario and unwinding with a glass of wine.
