Having first joined Russell & Russell as an Apprentice in 2019, Laurie worked in our Personal Injury Department where she successfully completed her Business Administration Apprenticeship. She then moved to Cobden House Chambers in Manchester in the role of Clerking Assistant, where she dealt with Probation matters, communicated with Court staff and expanded on her knowledge of the Criminal Legal system.

Laurie then returned to Russell & Russell to work in our Criminal Department based at our Head Office in Bolton. She deals with all types of criminal matters, including Police Station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court work. Laurie is in the process of completing her Police Station Accreditation and is eventually aiming to complete her CILEX Qualification as she aspires to become a Qualified CILEX Advocate.

Being passionate about helping people, Laurie undertook a role as a Domiciliary Care Worker to enable her to look after the physical, emotional and social needs of vulnerable individuals. She is trained to recognize signs of abuse and know how to report them.

During her free time, Laurie enjoys being outdoors and walking her dog, Piper. She loves socializing, dining out and travelling.
