Neil obtained a Law degree with honours at Manchester Metropolitan University in 1980 and went on to complete his Law Society finals course at the University. In 1981 he joined a law firm in Leigh as an Articled Clerk, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1984. He joined Russell & Russell in 1985 as a solicitor within our Horwich branch, working in general practice. He later went on to head up the firm’s Atherton office until 2016.
Neil’s considerable abilities as a litigation lawyer led him to become a partner of the firm in 1994. He now works from Russell & Russell's Newport Street legal advice centre in Bolton.
Neil still runs a substantial case load as well as managing staff. His knowledge and experience within the legal profession means that he deals with a broad range of accident claims and clinical negligence litigation. He has successfully run exceptionally high value claims and is qualified to act on behalf of clients with more complex maters and in serious injury claims.
