SAM MARTIN ( Crime )
Sam joined Russell & Russell as a Chartered Legal Executive and Police Station Representative in July 2018. Working from our offices in Bolton, he deals with many aspects of criminal law, in particular, providing advice and assistance at police stations and matters which then progress to the magistrates’ court.
Having qualified as a police station representative in 2015, and a Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) in 2017, Sam has gone on to obtain his advocacy rights of audience in the Magistrates Court. Sam qualified as a CILEx Criminal Advocate in July 2019 and is currently the youngest in the United Kingdom to have these specific rights of audience.
Outside work, Sam is a keen supporter of Bolton Wanderers and a football fan generally. He enjoys socialising with friends and family and is learning Italian as a second language.
