Scott qualified with a dual honours degree in Law and Criminology from Keele University in 2009. He went on to gain his LPC from Chester Law College in 2010.

In 2011, he obtained his Police Station Accreditation and qualified as a solicitor in 2012. In the same year, he achieved his Higher Rights of Audience and then became a Duty Solicitor in 2013.

Scott joined Russell & Russell in September 2019, working from the Chester office. Representing clients across Cheshire, Merseyside and North Wales, he deals with all areas of criminal defence, from theft and driving offences through to murder. Acting as a Duty Solicitor, Scott provides clients with advocacy and assistance at police stations and at Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court.

Outside of work, he likes to spend time with his family and friends. He also likes to ski and, being an ardent Liverpool fan, loves watching football.
